What is MUNISS?
"MUNISS is a place where all MUN enthusiasts have the chance to challenge themselves. Our conference teaches and improves on skills that are important for any future job, including complex problem solving, critical thinking and collaboration"
The MUNISS team cordially invites you to participate in the 14th annual MUN conference on Friday, April 23rd to Saturday, April 24th, 2021. After much consideration, we have decided to move this year’s conference online. An online platform will allow more delegates to participate with ease and safety, and we are glad to be continuing MUNISS into 2021 by exploring the theme of the Responsibility of governments and institutions in protecting the vulnerable.
In an age where health, economic, and human rights crises are at the forefront of the global stage, we often look to our governments for support. Governments have the potential to lead society into organisation, justice, and equality, but they can also force an oppressive, controlling, and unjust reality upon vulnerable citizens. So where is the line between power and control? This overarching theme will be applied in the context of our committees, which range in experience level from beginner to expert.
The conference will be hosted on Microsoft Teams, and we will still be following a normal conference schedule. Students from our school and all around the world will have the opportunity to virtually participate. If your school would like to attend MUNISS 2021, or if you are interested in participating as a single delegate or StOff member, visit www.muniss.de to register.
We look forward to seeing you at MUNISS 2021, and if you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our Communications Team at muniss@issev.de or visit our website, www.muniss.de.
Warm Regards,
The MUNISS Executive Team 2021
